Micador For Artists Collaborates with Local Talent

Key to the Micador for Artists brand is innovation and collaboration. We work closely with well-known artists to develop, test and launch new products.

We interact with the artists and our community through social media platforms such as Instagram, ensuring the close engagement of our consumers. Among many, we have worked with the likes of Michelle PossumGeorgina Kreutzer and Hayley Welsh.

Next in our journey, is collaborating with artists to create the artwork pieces, using only our products that will feature on forthcoming Micador for Artists packaging.

Michelle Possum

Our Micador AquaPainters – Autumn Collection packaging features custom artwork by Michelle Possum.

She used the 6 autumn colours to create the artwork for us, which depicts a story of a journey through the land.

Michelle Possum Nungurrayi is the youngest daughter of one of Australia’s most important Aboriginal artists, the late Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri.

Michelle is now a talented, innovative and culturally significant painter in her own right.

Georgina Kreutzer

Georgina Kreutzer is a Sydney based artist who finds expression through visual arts, photography, and music.

Her art has been exhibited in galleries in Sydney, Byron Bay and the Gold Coast.

She has a strong social media following where her intricate illustrations of people, cities and beautiful objects can be admired.

Inspired by an architecture study trip to Europe, Georgia has used the Micador For Artists Soft Pastels to sketch one of her favourite places – Venice.

Hayley Welsh

Having made the move to Australia in 2009, British born artist Hayley Welsh has secured her spot in the Australian art scene.

Finding inspiration from her 'inner voices', she is known for creating whimsical creatures with an ominous softness, so cute that they can’t be trusted.

Her emotive artworks have attracted huge followings both in Australia and internationally, with their childlike innocence juxtaposed with darker undertones of the unknown and abyss, reminding us all to trust love, ignore fear and ‘Listen to your Little Voice’.
