I am a watercolour artist and I use Rains Watercolour Paper a lot - and always have the DL size paper on hand; it is a staple in my supplies. I use it to sketch ideas, making cards, for workshops and for trialing colours and washes.
This paper holds liquid well. The pigment stays on paper! Not bad.
I love this as I first learnt watercolours on this paper! Great to use and with the perfect texture for washes and pen work too.
I used this watercolour paper for the first time, and I was impressed. I abused the heck out of it, and it held up really well. I sprayed water, added paint, sprayed, more paint - no less that 3 times and had no pilling, and the paper did not buckle at all.
Love this and that it’s 100% cotton!
The quality just can’t be beaten which makes them a dream to use. ❤️
